“AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED, LEOPARD IS A NEUTRAL” – JENNA LYONS
Fall is finally here – that means warmer tones, layered pieces, and new neutrals! From boxy sweaters to statement coats and everything in between, I am here for this! When kate spade new york reached out and asked me to host an event at my local store ALL ABOUT redefining Fall’s IT pattern, I had to agree! Bring on the Leopard!
The challenge: make Leopard print (typically a single statement piece in my wardrobe) a neutral!
See how I remix this pattern AGAIN in-store at kate spade new york, Short Pump (Richmond, VA) on October 5th @6pm!
This upcoming fall season, Leopard is the real party animal, and I had to join in on the fun! If you have been around here a while, you know that I am a fan of a desaturated wardrobe. Because my closet is full of stripes, and textures, spots and solids, (where jewelry makes the statement), I decided to switch things up, and let this seasons star print take the stage!
Honestly, I have always felt like my style err’s on the side of simplicity. By adding a fun fur bomber jacket to my closet, I was able to make a bold statement about my personal style: Simple, yet sophisticated!
Surprisingly, my favorite piece: The Leopard Bomber! This teddy-bear soft coat is going to be my favorite piece this fall, its purrrrfect! Styled over a neutral toned sweater, dressed down black denim, and with some sporty flats and an over the shoulder bag, I can’t wait to mix and match these pieces for seasons to come!
What are you doing to amp up your wardrobe as the seasons change? Are you rethinking the way you see Neutrals with this season’s IT pattern? Check out how I styled these pieces and let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
