ENERGY FLOWS WHERE ATTENTION GOES, AND MORE MANTRAS ON WELLNESS
Life has been a bit chaotic as of late. Finally home from a stint of constant travel, and really getting down to the finish line on my upcoming certification exams. To be honest, there aren’t enough hours in the day for me to get everything done. In the midst of the distress, I am learning so many things about how to find balance, rest, energy, and wellness and I wanted to share them with you! FIND YOUR PEACE
What kinds of activities make you happy? Help you clear your head? If you love going for a run, make time for it! If you enjoy spending time with your loved ones over netflix and pizza, invest in that time together. Start your day with a quiet time, and just meditate or pray over your day, appreciating the highs and lows. Just make sure to make peace a priority – daily! This will help you start your day on the right foot by focusing on health and wellness.
ENJOY THE OUTDOORS
There is something about getting outside and enjoying the sunshine, the fresh air, and moving in nature! We spend so many hours of the day inside, behind a desk, in a classroom, being a boss babe. No matter what our full time job or our part time hustle, we were born to be a part of nature, and we should all get outside and enjoy it! I really wanted to get B to the Grand Canyon (his number 1 destination on the bucket list) and I would love to hike the hell out of it! There is just something about getting outside and enjoying the journey! What an incredible way to clear our heads!
I hate to admit that my phone, and being such a slave to it, causes so many anxiety attacks in my life. Have I posted today’s grams? Am I caught up and living that Inbox Zero Life? Why aren’t people interacting with my photos? These concerns, in retrospect, are not real issues! I love being a business babe, and running this brand, but when it get’s overwhelming, I stop being able to enjoy it. When this happens, I just remind myself to unplug, disconnect, and step away from the day. Try some deep stretching, join a last minute class at a yoga studio. just make sure to take the time to clear your mind, and find a way to meditate. This allows me to really re-prioritize and attack tasks head on, and without distraction! – CLEAR EYES – FULL HEARTS – CANT LOSE
Totally obvious, but I saved this goodie for last, because I feel like it is something I finally understand! I really invested in cleaner eating, drinking those dreaded thousand glasses of water a day – ok, maybe 8 – and killing it on the matt, with the weights, and during that plank! Taking the time to train my body also helps me clear my mind, and take the next steps with a more focused perspective!
